Meet Scott "Goose" Gossett '94

Scott Gossett '94, originally from Beaverton, Oregon, started his college journey at the University of Arizona as a Nuclear Engineering major but quickly realized it wasn't his passion. Inspired by his experiences in the fraternity system, particularly with Kappa Sigma, he switched to Management Information Systems in the business school during his sophomore year. Scott became actively involved in Kappa Sigma, holding various leadership roles, including Grand Master, Grand Scribe, Grand Master of Ceremonies, Pledge Educator, and Pledge Class President. and contributed to the chapter's recognition with the Founders Award for Chapter Excellence (FACE) in 1997.

After graduating in 1997, Scott pursued a career in information technology. He started off at Intel in Hillsboro, Oregon as a Technical Marketing Engineer, then later moved to Chandler, Arizona. Following the 2007 real estate meltdown, Scott worked at GoDaddy as the Director of Executive Accounts then moved to St. Louis, became VP of Sales for an internet startup, and returned to Phoenix in 2011. After many trials and tribulations, he founded Clutch Solutions and has served as President since 2017.

Scott joined the Gamma Rho Housing Corporation in 2016 as he knew his college days were a time of growth, learning, and valuable friendships and wanted to pay that forward. He has also helped fund a scholarship for an undergraduate. His advice to the undergrads "is to get involved in the chapter and network with Gamma-Rho alumni as they have a lot of wisdom to share."
