GM Position Description

GM - President

• Ensure all obligations established by Kappa Sigma Fraternity, the House Corporation, and the University of Arizona are met.
• Coordinate with the Advisory Board, DGM and other Chapter Officers to ensure all chapter goals are set.
• Maintain strong relations with our Campus Partners and Volunteer Boards.
• Maintain an open communication channel with the Advisor and Asst. Advisors and ensure it is a trusting relationship.
• Ensure these meetings occur: New Member/Pledge (weekly); Chapter (weekly); EC (weekly); Accountability & Judicial Board (weekly); Committee (weekly to bi-weekly); EC/Advisors (bi-weekly to monthly); FSP (monthly); DGM (semester); Officer Transition(semester); and Chapter Retreat (annual).
• Ensure programming exists that keeps our juniors and seniors engaged in the chapter, and that are seniors have a great senior sendoff.
• Supervise the Campus Partnerships Chair; Goals Chair; Junior & Senior Engagement & Senior Sendoff Chair; and the Volunteer Boards Chair (Advisory Board, Educational Foundation Board & House Corporation Board).
