Career, Engagement, Leadership & Mentoring Chair Description

• Coordinate with the Advisory Board, Faculty Advisor/Career Advisor , FMG, and Chapter Officers (especially the VP Membership) to ensure our members are career-ready, engaged on campus and in the chapter, focused on their leadership development, and taking advantages of our career mentoring program.

• Manage the career program - have members meet with our career coach 1-2 times per year; ensure members have a resume and LinkedIn profile; match undergraduates to career mentors; see that members attend career panels; prepare members for career fairs and interviews using all of our resources; focus on identify as many jobs as possible for our job board; and coordinate with the Social Media Chair to profile members on Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn.

• Manage the engagement program - see that members serve as an officer, chair or assistant chair in the chapter; promote to members all the opportunities to be involved in on-campus; and ensure the chapter members are involved in as many honoraries as possible.

• Manage the leadership program - ensure that members review all of our online resources; promote leadership classes and programs; and encourage attendance at Kappa Sigma Leadership Conferences.

• See that the Academic, Career, Engagement & Leadership Office is maintained with all the resources needed.
