Robert Hogan’s career reflects a steady commitment to excellence in finance, leadership, and service—principles that trace back to his formative years at the University of Arizona. A 2006 graduate of the Eller College of Management with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Finance, Robert quickly distinguished himself both academically and across campus leadership roles. He served as IFC Vice President of Finance and Treasurer of Order of Omega, demonstrating early on his ability to lead with discipline and integrity.
Within Kappa Sigma, Robert’s impact was even more profound. As Grand Master and Grand Scribe, he helped guide the Gamma-Rho chapter through a period of strong leadership and engagement, earning recognition as the 2003 National Grand Scribe of the Year. He was also honored with the Eric Stevenson Campus Involvement Award, reflecting his commitment not only to the fraternity but to the broader university community. Today, he continues to give back as Secretary of the Gamma-Rho Housing Corporation, maintaining a lasting connection to the chapter that shaped him.
Professionally, Robert has built an impressive career in finance, anchored by over a decade of leadership at Salesforce, where he currently serves as Senior Director of Finance. Prior to joining Salesforce, he held key finance and accounting roles at Restoration Hardware and Charles Schwab, gaining a strong foundation in both corporate finance and operations. A Certified Public Accountant, Robert has continued to invest in his professional development, completing advanced programs at the UC Berkeley Haas School of Business and the Santa Clara University Leavey School of Business.
Beyond his professional achievements, Robert is deeply engaged in his community. He is an active member of The Guardsmen, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting at-risk youth across the Bay Area, where he previously served as Vice President of the Board of Directors. He is also a member of the Olympic Club in San Francisco, continuing to build strong personal and professional networks within his community.
Robert lives in San Francisco with his wife, Tawny, and their golden retriever, Orla. While their family continues to grow, his values remain grounded in connection, service, and lifelong relationships.
For Robert, Gamma-Rho and Kappa Sigma represent far more than a college experience—they are the foundation of who he is today. From the moment he accepted his bid, the fraternity provided a sense of belonging, purpose, and personal growth. Guided by the principle of striving toward “the total development of a better man,” Robert credits Kappa Sigma with shaping his character and continues to carry those lessons forward in every aspect of his life.
