Peter Corrigan '16

Peter Corrigan’s journey with Gamma-Rho and Kappa Sigma is a testament to the lifelong impact of mentorship, service, and community. A graduate of DePaul University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, Peter later continued his academic and professional path at the University of Arizona, completing a Master’s degree in Higher Education in 2015. His connection to the university would evolve into a meaningful career centered on student development and alumni engagement.

Peter built a distinguished career in higher education, serving in multiple leadership roles at the University of Arizona, including positions within Career Services, the Eller College of Management, and Student Engagement and Career Development. Across these roles, he focused on strengthening employer partnerships, supporting student career outcomes, and fostering alumni connections. Earlier in his career, he gained experience in the financial sector as an independent trader at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, bringing a unique perspective to his work in career development.

Today, Peter serves as the Philanthropy and Donor Connections Officer at the Primavera Foundation, where he works to advance initiatives supporting individuals experiencing poverty and housing insecurity. His role reflects a deep commitment to service and community impact, aligning his professional efforts with meaningful social change.

Peter’s relationship with Kappa Sigma is especially unique and impactful. Though he was not involved in fraternity life as an undergraduate, his dedication to mentoring students led him to become a Kappa Sigma Career Advisor in 2012. Through years of consistent support and guidance, he built strong relationships within the chapter, ultimately being voted in as a Special Initiate in 2015. His contributions have been widely recognized, culminating in his selection as Kappa Sigma Man of the Year in 2026.

At home, Peter shares his life with his wife, Joanne, and their twins, Ruby and Quinn, grounding his professional and community efforts in a strong sense of family.

For Peter, Gamma-Rho and Kappa Sigma represent something deeply personal—a sense of belonging that he did not experience during his own undergraduate years. Through his involvement, he found brotherhood, support, and a community committed to excellence. His story exemplifies the enduring reach of Kappa Sigma, showing that its impact extends far beyond traditional paths and continues to shape lives through connection, mentorship, and shared purpose.
