John Salmon '00

John Salmon is a 2000 initiate of Gamma-Rho. Since graduating with a B.S. in Finance in 2003, John has built an impressive career in escrow. As an Escrow Officer at Glen Oaks Escrow, he has consistently ranked among the top revenue earners (DPK) nationwide since First American Title (FAF) acquired the company in 2022. His leadership, expertise, and dedication have made him one of the most respected professionals in the industry. Beyond his career in escrow, John is an active real estate investor, a passion he has pursued for over two decades, often in partnership with his fellow Kappa Sig brothers, Sam Chang and Eric Chambers. His ability to build meaningful business relationships within the brotherhood exemplifies the lifelong bonds formed in Kappa Sigma.

John’s commitment to Gamma-Rho has remained strong since his undergraduate years, where he served as Outer Guard. As an alumnus, he has continued to give back, including his generous contribution to the courtyard project, which has enhanced the chapter house for future generations. His support of Arizona Athletics further reflects his dedication to the university community. Residing in Agoura Hills, CA, John is a devoted family man, sharing his life with his wife, Greta, and their two children, Ella (8) and Kit (4).

When asked about Kappa Sigma, John says, “Going to college can be overwhelming for many people, as it’s a big change and easy to get lost in it. Joining Kappa Sig and becoming a brother in the Gamma-Rho chapter was easily the best way to form great friendships, many of which continue to this day.”
