Branden Lombardi Foundation - Chip In To Fight Cancer 2011
It’s that time of year again! Please join on us on Saturday, April 30th, 2011 for Chip In To Fight Cancer 2011, our 12th annual golf tournament. This year’s event will again be held at Club West Golf Club in Phoenix, Arizona.
It is an exciting time for the Foundation, as we continue to pursue our mission of improving the quality of life for cancer patients today. In The past year we have supported Camp Rainbow, a weeklong oncology camp for patients and survivors aged 7-17 organized by the Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders at Phoenix Children’s Hospital. Additionally, we have continued our support of the oncology units at Maricopa Medical Center, providing them much needed basic necessities such as snacks and juice drinks. We also continue to work with our partner facilities making sure their patients and families are well taken care of in the difficult times of cancer treatment. Finally, in partnership with The Wellness Community of Arizona we have launched, “Whatever It Takes”, a young adult survivorship program for patients and survivors aged 21-40. We are excited about the social and educational events planned for this new program.
